THE TOWN GUIDE
Privacy Policy
Updated November 4, 2026
This page explains how Dub Town uses information when you explore, sign in, interact with listings or make a purchase. Contact the Dub Town team at [email protected] with privacy questions.
Information we use
- Account information: your email address when you use email sign-in, a connected public wallet address, and account/session records. Passkey registration stores a credential identifier and public key; the authenticator keeps the private key and biometric information.
- Listings and purchases: the domain, title, URL, description and other content you provide, plot ownership, purchase amounts, payment status and receipt or transaction references. Listings and town activity are public. Cryptocurrency transactions and wallet addresses can also be public on the blockchain.
- Interactions and security: Love Taps, views and visits, timestamps, session identifiers and network information such as an IP address. The app uses hashed visitor/address identifiers for anonymous activity limits. Hosting and delivery services may also process request and security logs.
- Support: the email address, domain, reason and messages you provide in a support or removal request.
We use this information to sign you in, fulfill purchases, establish ownership, display listings and activity, prevent abuse, investigate payment issues, respond to requests and maintain the service.
Cookies, preferences and analytics
First-party cookies keep sign-in flows and sessions working. A visitor cookie helps enforce activity limits and avoid counting repeated interactions as new visitors. The app stores display, audio and welcome-screen preferences in your browser’s local or session storage.
Dub Town uses Umami analytics served through ForgeMesh to understand page usage. That service processes usage and device/browser information separately from the town’s public activity counts. Delivery through Cloudflare also involves network and security processing. We do not treat activity counts as a count of verified people.
You can clear cookies and site storage through your browser. This signs you out and resets local preferences; it does not delete purchases, server-side records or on-chain transactions. Browser controls or content blockers can restrict analytics requests.
Retention and your choices
Account, listing and purchase records are retained to maintain ownership, operate the service and resolve transactions or disputes. Temporary sign-in and activity-limit records expire separately. There is no single automatic deletion period for all records. Removing a listing or clearing browser data does not erase the transaction history, and public blockchain records cannot be deleted by us.
Email [email protected] to request access, correction or deletion of your personal information, or review of a logo/listing. Include the affected domain or account email, but no passwords or payment secrets. We may need to verify that you control the account or domain. Some records may need to remain for ownership, security, payment or legal reasons.
Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights to object to or restrict processing, receive a copy of your information, or complain to a privacy regulator. Contact us to exercise applicable rights.
Dub Town is intended for a general audience of website owners and visitors, not directed at children under 13. If you believe a child has supplied personal information, contact us so we can review and address it.
Changes to this policy will be posted on this page with an updated date.
