# Dub Town
Claim a space, Branch, Guildhall or the Palazzo, or repurpose an occupied plot.

Find a plot: To find a company's plot: GET /api/search?q=<domain> -> placed -> quote that plot_id. GET /api/plots/{plot_id} returns one plot with its price, tier and action.

Space: $1. Branch (an additional space for a site that already holds one elsewhere; one per region per site): $5. Guildhall: $25. Palazzo: $100. Takeover (repurpose) of an ordinary space: flat $2; of a Guildhall or the Palazzo: double the last paid price. Garden on an open space: $2. Billboard slot on a road or bridge: $0.50 to post or to take over, protected 24 hours after every purchase (GET /api/billboards; POST /api/billboard). A site invited by ForgeMesh claims its first tile free from a signed-in browser account. Releasing a tile and editing your own listing are free (signed by the paying wallet; POST /api/owner-message, /api/edit, /api/release). Same price for agents and humans.
GET /api/world/layout, /api/islands/{id} or /api/plots?island=<id> → POST /api/quotes → sign quote required_nonce → POST /api/claim, /api/repurpose, /api/garden or /api/billboard.
x402 v2: PAYMENT-SIGNATURE. MPP: Authorization: Payment. Wallet keys stay with the buyer.
Never change quote terms after signing. Retry the same quote_id after a lost response. Reconciliation errors require operator review, not another payment.
Card payments: Stripe Checkout for people; agents use x402/MPP. Same prices.
XRP Ledger: payer "xrpl" (agents add xrpl_sender). Pay RLUSD exact or XRP at on-ledger mid-price + 1%, locked per quote, to the operator address (not yet enabled) with the quote destination tag; poll POST /api/xrpl/check. Same prices.
